Personal Bio:
After graduating MSU, Dr. Nicole moved to New York and worked as an engineer for International Paper and Clairol for 10 years. During this time, Dr. Nicole started turning toward holistic medicine to care for her health. It was during this time that she gained knowledge and passion for Chiropractic. It was the tragedy of 9/11 that made her realize life was too short not to pursue your passion. She left her job in NY a few months later to start her Doctorate of Chiropractic.
After completing her Doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Nicole returned to her home state of Michigan where she practiced with her brother and sister in law, Dr.s Derek & Ryan Bittner at Bittner Chiropractic Center. In November of 2006, Dr. Nicole brought the Maximized Living lifestyle to Livingston County by becoming the owner of Hands on Health Chiropractic.
Dr. Nicole is passionate about providing natural, drug-free health and wellness care to families all over Livingston County. She is active in the community educating people on the benefits of chiropractic care. In 2006, Dr. Nicole was part of the inaugural team to bring chiropractic care to Madagascar, Africa. This team educated government officials and medical doctors on the value and efficacy of chiropractic care. The mission team also provided chiropractic care to thousands of Malagasy people across several villages.
Hobbies:
In her spare time, Dr. Nicole is passionate about photography, travel and spending time outdoors. Travel has taken her to Ireland, Turks & Caicos and all corners of the US & Canada. An avid scuba diver, some of her favorites dive locals include Belize, Saba, Mexico and Fiji. She also loves taking her golden retriever, Bella, on hikes and spending time with friends and family up North.
